William (Conan) Cui

William (Conan) Cui is a Consultant at GRS with nearly 15 years of actuarial and consulting experience. Conan’s experience covers public sector retirement systems, OPEB plans, and ERISA qualified plans. He has worked with clients in Florida, Michigan, California, and Virginia.

Conan’s primary client responsibilities include the preparation of pension and retiree health care valuations for funding and accounting purposes, contribution and funding projections, employee benefit statements, benefit calculations, client data maintenance, preparation of government filings and required disclosures, experience studies, and cost analyses for proposed plan changes. His expertise also includes actuarial audits and coding plan provisions in valuation software to transition new clients.

Conan has extensive knowledge of Florida Statues, including Chapter 175 and 185. He also has strong background in programming and modeling and more than a decade of experience using actuarial valuation software, which includes ValPlex™, GRS’ internal software and ProVal®, licensed commercial software.
