Consultants and Actuaries

Rebecca (Becky) Stouffer is a Senior Consultant and Team Leader in GRS’ Southfield, Michigan office. She has more than 19 years of actuarial and consulting experience with public employee retirement systems. During her career, Becky has served a variety of public employee retirement systems and plan sponsors, including state, city, county, and statewide agent-multiple employer retirement systems. She has worked with clients in Michigan, Idaho, Illinois, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Becky’s actuarial experience covers pension plan valuations, other post-employment benefits (OPEB) valuations, funding projections, plan design studies, experience studies, actuarial audits, and Domestic Relations Order (DRO) calculations.

Becky serves as a conference speaker at the Michigan Association of Public Employee Retirement Systems (MAPERS).

Becky attends client board meetings to communicate the results of our actuarial studies, leads internal training sessions, and is a primary speaker at regular status meetings for a large agent multiple-employer retirement plan, where she serves as an institutional resource for past practices, manages and provides updates with respect to ongoing client projects, and assists the client in navigating potential new/enhanced plan designs.
